He seemed a little more nervous this time, and was sad to see summer fun end.
Last week we had meet the teacher. Ephraim's classrooms are right next door to his first grade classes, so that was helpful is easing some of his nerves. His teachers are Mrs. Garlutzo and Mr. Yao. He was also excited to have his first ever boy teacher.
He liked his new shirt and told me it was "kind of funny." He chose a Minecraft backpack this year.
He told me he wants to design video games or be a twitch streamer (a person who plays video games for a living) when he grows up (of course).
He is super excited to have Asher at his school, and he's going to do great this year, I just know it!
Today, Asher had his first day of preschool! He's going Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons for 2.5 hours.
Last week we had meet the teacher. Asher loved his classroom, and his teacher, Miss Tammy.
Asher has been counting down to this day for ages. Last week he asked me everyday if he could go to school tomorrow. He chose a Mario backpack this year.
He told me he wanted spiky hair for his first day of school and when we got to the school gate he was talking to everyone and reading his shirt to them. "Hello preschool! I'm Asher."
Everest was devastated that she didn't get to go in with him, and while I was managing her, they opened the gate and he ran off to his classroom instead of lining up to walk there in an orderly fashion and one of the teacher's aids had to go get him. He was just too excited, but once they got his attention he lined up to wait with everyone, no problem.
Asher told me that he is going to clean up for his job when he grows up.
As long as Asher can contain his excitement, he is going to do great ;-) and I am excited to hear all about his first day.
