I've taken up a new hobby: crocheting. I'm really enjoying it. It's fun to create something while not making (too much) of a mess. I used these tutorials to teach me the basics and then I started going!
I've mostly been making things for little heads, because they are cuter.
Here are my first creations:
This is a little headband I made, as modeled by my adorable niece. I found the pattern for this one here.

These two hats were made using this pattern and the flowers were made using this one. I had trouble getting the size right at first so the very first one is for a baby doll (with a very small head :-P), but the second one turned out just right.
This one is my very favourite. I found the pattern for this one here. It's so stinking cute. I can't wait to see it on Dana's baby boy tonight.
I'll probably keep posting my creations here. I think my next project is either to make Stephen a hat or to try making a blanket. We'll see.
I'm so impressed! Maybe one day you can teach me your talent. I think it is so neat that you just taught yourself! Amazing!!
ReplyDeleteThose are all super cute. You should be proud of your accomplishments!
ReplyDeleteI need you to teach me that stuff. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! They turned out super. You must have quite the creative streak!
